What a Lie!

Sitting under the marvelous roof,
In a place so calm and serene,
Watching those colors and candles,
I felt so holy.

Watching you in your attire,
So bright, majestic and powerful,
Listening to your soft words,
I forgot myself.

So absorbed was I into you,
I played along with your rituals,
Some horrendous, some stupidous,
I thought I found Him.

You, the dirty preacher, sedated me
With those phoney tales,
Sugar laced novels and myths.
You fed me with misty lies,
Until so overgrown was I,
I wanted to drain the sugar
And strain the toddy in my body.

Virgin birth and pure blood,
Cheating His own death
And slaying the demons...
Ah, He is an angel!
A Holy Spirit to decide hell or heaven
For my bloody crimes and sins
God! What a lie!
